Sea View Penthouse Maisonette

This is a spacious elegant duplex apartment on the two floors above the first floor apartment. It sleeps a maximum of 12 and has 8 single beds in three bedrooms and 4 additional guests can sleep on the large sofa beds.

The rooms are generous in size and flooded with light. From the living room and the master bedroom room oblique sea views can be seen at the other side of the restored regency gardens.

The Lounge and Dining Area

The lounge is flooded with light and huge in size (approximately 550 square feet). It has two large double sofa beds and a dining area which seats up to 12 for family occasions or large group events such as birthdays and hen nights. A private chef can be booked if required.

It is fully equipped with a new Panasonic Freesat 42 inch TV. Full free WiFi is also included in the price.

The Kitchen

This apartment has a large and new fully equipped kitchen and includes everything you are likely to want to prepare for a large group dinner.


The apartment is located at the top of Brunswick Square (in Brunswick Place South). This is a Grade 1 listed area and is regarded as being one of (if not) the finest Regency Squares in Brighton. It is located close enough to all the main tourist attractions to be able to comfortably walk to them. The immediate area has a high number of excellent restaurants, bars and food shops located within no more than a minute’s walk. These include a couple of French Patisserie shops, a French cheese and wine shop, a Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s Express within a two minute walk. A large Waitrose can be reached by foot and is a 5 minutes walk away.

Parking is available outside the building and is via a daily permit system which currently costs £12 a day. Free parking is available a 20 minute walk away.

Please note Brighton is located at the bottom of the A23. To avoid tourist traffic on entering Brighton it is quickest to reach the apartments by travelling via Dyke Road Avenue. This apartment is situated in Brunswick Place South. This means that you cannot reach it via the main section of Brunswick Place as Brunswick Place South is attached to Brunswick Square. To access this section of Brunswick Place you therefore need to access it via the seafront and by travelling to the top of Brunswick Square.

Arriving by Train

The train station is about a mile away and both Brighton and Hove stations can be reached by foot. However the route from Brighton station is very hilly and with bags you may prefer to catch a taxi which costs £7. The bus service from the station is the number 7 and leaves approximately every 15 minutes, This costs just under £2 each way. From London trains leave from Victoria and London Bridge very frequently and take hour. Trains from Gatwick take 35 minutes and are also very frequent.

This maisonette is on the second and third floors of the building. The stairs are wide and easy to climb with supporting rails. It is not however suitable for those that require wheelchair access or those that are too infirm to manage stairs.
