The Kitchen

The kitchen has everything you would expect in a fully equipped kitchen. This includes amongst other things a dishwasher, large fridge and a freezer, a microwave, two ovens, porcelain crockery and glasses etc. suitable for entertaining up to 20. A folding door exists between the kitchen and dining room – great for chatting to friends whilst cooking.

The Living Room

This is a great area for relaxing on sofas and watching TV or a DVD. Many of the bedrooms and the dining room also have a TV in them so you can catch up on your favourite programmes whilst getting ready to go out.

The Seven Bedrooms

All but one of the seven bedrooms are spacious in size. The bedrooms are fitted with top-end hotel-quality zip and link beds for maximum comfort. This means that groups have the option of either 20 single beds or a combination of a large king or super king doubles and singles if your group size is below the maximum capacity. High-quality Egyptian cotton bedlinen has been provided for your stay.

Three Bathrooms

There are three bathrooms in the building. Two with baths and overhead showers and one with a walk-in shower and toilet. Egyptian cotton white towels are provided for use during your stay.

The Utility Room

The Location

The house in Charles Street is one of the oldest streets in Brighton and is very central. It is located close enough to all the main tourist attractions to be able to comfortably walk to them in no more than a minute (Palace Pier, Brighton Wheel, The Pavilion, Shops and Restaurants in the Lanes). There are also many supermarkets close by for shopping which are open 365 days of the year.

There are paid parking spaces in numerous car parks and on the street and seafront close by. You can also rent spaces that can be rented with the house and cost £15 a day to rent.

Planning permission

This property is one of only a handful of large properties in Brighton that has the correct planning permission for use as guest accommodation. It has held this role for a hundred and fifty years. This means you can book this property for bookings without the risk of finding the council has closed it. This. is a real risk in Brighton as the council is issuing planning enforcement controls on most larger AirBnBs.

The bus service from the station is the number 7 and leaves approximately every 15 minutes, This costs just under £3.50 each way. All buses to the Old Steine and St James Street will also drop you off very close to the building.

From London, trains leave from Victoria and London Bridge very frequently and take an hour. Trains from Gatwick take 35 minutes and are also very frequent.

The Coach Station
